1st Grade Summer Skills Workbook: Common Core Review

Don't let the summer slide happen to your students! I created this unit to give to my students so they could practice and review skills during their summer vacation. I am planning on binding the pages together as a book and rewarding students who complete and return the books during the first week of the new school year.

Included in this unit are 64 pages that cover the language arts and math common core standards, a 1,000 minute reading challenge and record, a summer vacation journal, parent note, and reward certificates.

While I created these activities to be sent home with students, they would also make GREAT end of year review activities to be used in your classroom.

This unit would be perfect for students leaving 1st grade to review what they have learned, or for students entering 1st grade to get some extra practice before the new school year.
