- Given a note on the staff, the student must identify its correct letter name.
- Given a keying/fingering/slide position/keyboard bar, the student must identify the correct letter name.
- Given a note on the staff, the student must both identify its correct letter name AND fill in the keying/fingering/slide position/bar position template or number for the notes.
The quizzes are designed to be used across a span of classes or weeks, depending on how often you meet with your students, in order to increase the rigor of their knowledge surrounding note names and keyings/fingerings/slide positions/bar notes. Use them year after year! ENJOY!

5-STAR, EXTREMELY SATISFIED PRODUCT REVIEWS:
- Great resource for reviewing notes names AND fingerings. Note name resources seem pretty easy to find, but good ones that review fingering are less common. This one fits the bill perfectly!
- Such an easy way to get quick reviews in for my beginning band students! These are easy to use for entire sections to review together, or as individual checks so I can track student progress. It has saved me a lot of time creating them myself, and will be a resource that I use year after year.
- Great resource for students to use on their own to reinforce what we were learning when we had to leave school. Will use again when I have new beginners next year.
- I used this in the beginning of the year to reinforce and check those beginning fingerings. This was exactly what I needed.
- Loved the concept of these and the students have loved them!
- These were life savers for my beginning band!
