Description
This 4th grade math escape room is a fun way to review fourth grade level CCSS math skills for the end of grade test (EOG). It's also a great end of year (EOY) team building activity to complete after testing.
The activity walks students through a series of clues, leading to a key that will βunlockβ your classroom door. To find and solve the clues, they will need to use skills they have learned throughout the year in math class.
This resource includes a print version with directions, a teacher script, and all printable materials needed (you just need 3 boxes, 3 envelopes, and 3 balloons!). The print version also includes optional Google Slides to project certain materials so that the whole group can see them better.
A no prep digital Google Slides version is also included (click the force copy link on the first page). Simply assign via Google Classroom and that's it! The slides will walk students through the whole activity independently or project it and complete it as a whole group activity.
4th grade math skills include:
- place value (finding the value of numbers)
- addition
- subtraction
- multiplication
- division
- area
- perimeter
- angle measurement
- symmetry
- comparing fractions
- prime numbers
- word problems involving the 4 operations
