What educators are saying

These are a lifesaver for filling small amounts of time with meaningful learning. They are also very handy to leave for substitute teachers.
My students really enjoy these videos to help solidify foundational skills. They enjoy using whiteboards to engage with the videos. Thanks!

Description

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and just needed a minute to catch your breath? Have you ever wondered how you could keep your class busy while you worked one-on-one with a student or small group? I know I have and that's why I created 7 Minute Whiteboard Videos. They are ZERO prep! No copies! No early finishers! No grading! The best part is, kids LOVE them!

These videos offer a quick, no-prep review that your students are going to love! Each student needs a whiteboard, marker, and eraser.

This set includes a variety of skills and is a great review for your kindergartners. Skills included are -

Zombie Beginning Sounds - Your kinders will be kissing their "BRAINS....BRAINS...." as they review beginning sounds. This video is so darn cute! Click here to see it!

The Switch Witch (Capital/Lowercase Letters) - This friendly witch will put a spell on letters to turn capitals into lowercase and lowercase into capitals! Can your students write the letters before she works her magic? I love that this video reinforces capital and lowercase through the narration. Click here to see it!

MORE Candy (Greater Numbers) - We see a trick-or-treater with two bags of candy. The bags have numbers (there are two versions of this video, 0 to 10 and 0 to 20) on them and we hear the number then directions to write the number that is greater. There is a number line on the slide for an added visual tool. After kids have time to write, the bags flip around showing the quantity of candy and we hear and see the correct answer. Click here to see a preview of this video!

Web Words (Beginning Sounds) - We see a web with five pictures stuck to it. Flies zoom in and tell us what these pictures are. Can your students write the beginning sound of all these pictures before the spider appears and tells us the sound and the letter that makes this sound? Check the preview for this one. It is so cute!

Monster House (Letter Sounds) - Listen to the doorbell to figure out who lives at the house. The bell rings three times and says the letter sound. Can your students write the letter before the doors creek open and we see monster letters inside the house? Click here to see a preview of this fun video!

2D Monsters Under the Bed - "If you see a monster under the bed, remember what shape it is!" The light turns off and we see eyes peeking from under the bed. A flashlight switches on and shines around the room revealing a friendly monster under the bed. Next, your kinders will draw the shape the monster was before the light switches back on and we see the monster. Click here to see it!

Counting to 10 - We see sleepy bats and count how many there are and write the number on our boards before the bats wake up and count themselves for us to check our answers. Click here to see a quick preview of this video.

Ten Frames to 10 - We see zombie hands poking up from the dirt in a ten frame design. How many hands are there? This video is great practice for reinforcing numbers 0 to 10. Click here to see it!

Ten Frames to 20 - We see spooky eyeballs in ten frames and kids write how many eyes there are. I love the audio on this one when they check their answers because it starts out by counting the complete ten frame as "10" and counts on from there. Click here to see it!

Tally Marks to 10 - These tally marks are made of bones! Can your kids look at the tallies and write the number they represent? Great practice reinforcing numbers to 10! Click here to see an example!

Zombie Addition Sentences (addition to 6) - We see zombie hands holding up fingers and we have to write the addition sentence to show how many fingers in all. The audio and visual in this video is great for introducing addition. Click here to see this video!

SOLVE IT! DRAW IT! Addition to 5 - These are a classroom favorite! It's like directed drawing with a math twist. Solve the addition sentence and your answer determines what details you add to your picture. Click here to see an example from this video.
