    Description

This 8th grade math pre-algebra bundle currently includes 25 sets of BOOM cards. To preview each of the resources in this bundle, please click on the links below. My decks currently include 6-20 cards each. My favorite part about these digital task cards is that they provide immediate feedback to students after each individual question.

This bundle currently includes the following skills:

The Real Number Systems + Exponents

    Proportional + Nonproportional Relationships

Solving Multi-Step Equations + Linear Systems

    Transformations on the Coordinate Plane

    Geometry

PLEASE NOTE: Boom Cards are used on the Boom Platform. You must set up an account to use them. There is a free account and students can use the cards using a "fast pin" without setting up individual accounts for them. Please familiarize yourself with the platform or ask me questions before making the purchase! I'm glad to help!

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you'll need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account. Read here for details: http://bit.ly/BoomTrial.

You may be eligible for a free trial from Boom Learning. Read here for details: http://bit.ly/BoomTrial. If you choose not to stay on a premium account after your free trial, you will still be able to assign all your Boom Cards to as many students as you see fit using Fast Play pins (which give instant feedback for decks that are self-grading).

IMPORTANT! This download is for one classroom teacher, only. If you decide to make the purchase, please do not share the PDF with friends or colleagues. BOOM learning charges me a fee each time a new user downloads the bundle, even if I only earned one sale from Teachers Pay Teachers. If you are suspected for sharing, BOOM will investigate and may suspend your account. If friends/ colleagues would like to purchase their own license, please direct them to this product link on TpT so they may purchase their own license. Thank you for understanding!!!

Feel free to email me at Lisa@LisaDavenportOnTPT.com with questions or to request additional sets.

Describe the effect of dilations, translations, rotations, and reflections on two-dimensional figures using coordinates.
Understand that a two-dimensional figure is similar to another if the second can be obtained from the first by a sequence of rotations, reflections, translations, and dilations; given two similar two-dimensional figures, describe a sequence that exhibits the similarity between them.
Use informal arguments to establish facts about the angle sum and exterior angle of triangles, about the angles created when parallel lines are cut by a transversal, and the angle-angle criterion for similarity of triangles. For example, arrange three copies of the same triangle so that the sum of the three angles appears to form a line, and give an argument in terms of transversals why this is so.
Apply the Pythagorean Theorem to determine unknown side lengths in right triangles in real-world and mathematical problems in two and three dimensions.
Apply the Pythagorean Theorem to find the distance between two points in a coordinate system.
