A Toast for the New Year Bulletin Board

This punny bulletin board can be used in January or at the beginning of the school year. Rather than toasting with glasses of champagne, this board actually uses...well... TOAST! The kit includes 12 pieces of toast, 2 toasters and the title letters shown above. (The photo above shows a partial kit.)

The pieces of toast are about 8 inches tall and contain statements like "I will make healthy choices about what I eat." "This year I resolve to be more responsible." and "I will look for ways to show kindness to others."

Also included in this kit are a few blank pieces of toast that you can print out and write additional resolutions on. A couple of blank black and white reproducible toasts are included as writing/drawing prompts. Use them with your students to capture their thoughts about the new year.
