What educators are saying
This was perfect for my TK room! Great for end of year, as they were able to do this mostly independently.
Great for the beginning of the year. This has been extremely helpful with my students who are still working on letter recognition as well as sounds.
Description
These adorable alphabet mini books target so many important skills for preschool, pre-k and kindergarten. Students practice letter names, letter sounds, handwriting, fine motor skills, left to right progression, CAP skills and so much more!
All 26 books come in both color and black/white so students can practice the entire alphabet! Two books print per page.
Each book has ten pages, and you can choose to use all or some of the pages focusing on these skills:
- Page 1: front cover
- Pages 2-5 - students read a sentence focusing on a specific letter
- Page 6 - trace the letter with correctly directionality
- Page 7 - write the letter with scaffolding support to show students where to start the letter (I say start at the star!)
- Page 8 - find and color the letter
- Page 9 - draw a picture and finish the sentence
- Page 10 - cut and paste the capital and lowercase letter to match
These are perfect for no prep centers or seat work.
You can also use these as self starters or bell work!
Just print, cut apart and place the half pages on student desks - no need to even make a full mini book!
This resource is included in my alphabet bundle!
