Alphabet and Beginning Sound Literacy Centers

Your students will have so much fun practicing the alphabet, beginning sounds, letter identification and lower/uppercase letters with these literacy center mats. There are a total of 4 different centers included which are perfect for literacy centers, intervention programs and so much more!

The following activities are included:

1. Alphabet Mats

Students use magnetic letters or erasable marker to fill in the beginning sound of each picture. A total of 10 different mats are included.

2. Letter Identification Mats

Using counters, mini erasers or other objects, students cover the letters that correspond to the mat.

3. Beginning Sound Mats

Using counters, mini erasers or other objects, students cover the picture which begins with the sound that corresponds to the mat.

4. Lower and Uppercase Letter Mats

Using magnetic letters or erasable marker, students match the lower or uppercase letters to each letter.
