What educators are saying

This was a great resource to use! I used these fact sheets to have my students go on a "safari" around the school. Great information!
I used this resource to support my students work on writing center during our daily 5 and it was a big hit with the students and I.

Description

When I first began work on these I wanted to an informative and comprehensive document with easy to read facts that could reach younger children. These are great if you can laminate them. Put them up in your science section, or combine them when you read some books (Brown Bear by Eric Carle would be a great combo!)

Included: Bear, Whale, Giraffe, Gorilla,Lion, Elephant,Cheetah, Tiger,Gray Wolf, Harp Seal, Sloth, Zebra, Chipmunk, Beaver and Howler Monkey

Update: I have added in some charts:

1. Compare and Contrast (one with lines and one without)

2. KWL (one with lines, one without)

3. Fact Sheet (can be used to assess what student learned) Make sure to have them label body parts like a scientist!

Please let me know if there is anything you would like to see added to this document!
