What educators are saying
This was a great start to increasing students' reading comprehension by engaging in purposeful annotations.
Very helpful to keep students accountable and to think through what they have put on their papers and in their reading.
Description
You will receive 10 posters to use in annotation stations. You can either display one at a time on the board, or have students sit in small groups, and give each group a different poster. After 5-10 minutes, have them rotate posters. You could also print these in smaller versions to make task cards.
I usually change my posters based on what we’re currently reviewing in class, and in most cases, I pick the excerpt/text for the students to analyze. If you are interested in adding your own, I have added a customizable PowerPoint for you to edit to suit your needs.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
