What educators are saying

Needed this for a few students to write apologies to each other, as well as to a substitute. A very meaningful activity for when we do and say unkind things.
I was in need of a teaching materials and only had 10 minutes. I had the item I needed in 5 and still had time to make copies. Thank you for being so easy to access.

Description

Apology Letter: This fill-in-the-bank Student Apology Letter is for students to fill out after demonstrating poor behavior. This letter of apology guides students to explain what they did, how that made others feel, and what they should have done instead. Use this as an apology letter to a substitute, to a fellow classmate, to a teacher, etc. The possibilities are endless for teaching students how to properly apologize.

Two option included, one which requires parent & teacher signatures and one that doesn't. Blank templates included as well if you prefer students to re-write the entire letter by hand.

I have found this apology letter to work wonders for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th grade students and has produced some real thought-provoking conversations!
