What educators are saying

Excellent resource! This resource was exactly what I was looking for. Students enjoyed the activities.
I had a student that LOVED playing board games so I used this to help correct his behavior. He only needed the chart for a couple of months before he was doing good by himself. Thank you!

Description

Do you have a student that is having trouble getting his/her work done? Are they having trouble focusing, forgetting many things, and impulsive? Try these Behavior Incentive Charts! Featuring 18 Charts in all, it's a great tool to have in your tool kit.

There are 9 Styles to choose from. I tried to choose things that I know that kids relate to.

Here are the choices:

• Race Car

• Cheerleading

• Dinosaurs

• Football

• Puppies

• Kitties

• Soccer

• Candy Store

• Ice Cream

Directions for Use:

1. Select a Behavior Board

2. Fill in Name, Desired Behavior, & Incentive with Sharpie

3. Discuss these with the student and determine a fair amount of time to expect student to do the desired behavior. This might change hourly, daily, etc.

4. Set the timer.

5. Each time the student is successful, they DRAW A LINE TO THE NEXT CIRCLE

6. Each time the student is REDIRECTED, they/you place a CHECK MARK IN THE CIRCLE.

7. If they use all of the chances, they do not get the incentive and go on to the next number.

8. This is why you need more chance for students that have a harder time behaving.

9. Be lenient at first to help the student be successful and want to continue getting rewards.

10. Once the student reaches the end of the chart, immediately give them their reward.

11. Praise the student often as the timer is going. This helps them stay focused on the desired behavior.

12. Consistency is KEY!

There are 2 boards in each style to differentiate the needs of the student. One board has 2 chances between each spot, and the other has 3. Some boards are longer than others which offers more differentiation.
