This resource is a nine page PDF document with activities to do based on the book Beth - The Story of a Child Convict by Mark Wilson. This document contains six worksheets for students.

The activities allow the students to reflect on the story and extend their understanding of the themes within this text. There are two pages of comprehension questions, a dictionary activity, a Venn diagram task and two research activities. A teacher answer sheet is provided for the comprehension questions.

This book is an excellent resource to use for a unit on the First Fleet. It helps teach students about the difficulties that the convicts and early settlers faced whilst trying to establish a colony in New South Wales.
