What educators are saying

A great resource to supplement our US History unit on the Interwar Period. Engaging for the kids and easy to prep (for me!).
I made this into a one day activity for my kids to go through. There is a lot of information and it's so helpful when trying to describe the 1920's and 1930's.

Description

Need a concise unit to address the Interwar Period Between WWI and WWII? Want to cover the Roaring 20s, the Great Depression and the Rise of Totalitarian Leaders with one resource?

This is a mini-unit (single activity) on the period between World War One and World War Two in which students visit 8 different stations (including 2 with online activities) to investigate the changes around the world.

Students will record the information in a provided graphic organizer to use in completing a creative project for their cumulative grade on the unit.

This activity is very interactive and covers all of the standards for the time period.

Content Topics Covered at each Station

Artistic Changes

Roaring Twenties

Great Depression

Rise of Hitler

Each center practices different skills vital in the Social Studies classroom. They will analyze primary sources, read timelines, examine maps, determine the meaning in artwork, and more.

Students may work collaboratively on all or any parts of the unit. Take a look at the Preview to see how this unit can be implemented in your classroom.
