Bird Study Journal
- PDF
Description
This Bird Study journal introduces children to the format of bullet journaling and combines, science, art, writing and drawing. I have designed this journal to work as an extension to the picture book Owen's Afternoon Tea, but it can be used independently as an anchor for nature study and discussions about threatened species and habitat destruction. The journal includes 48 pages of templates for drawing, colouring and collecting information about birds. I have included an Australian map and world map with blank key for children to map birds they discover as well as some more personal pages for recording gratitude and other focuses which have be proven to aid the building of a healthy mindset.
The Journal includes:
2 maps
2 map key pages
13 realistic birds to colour
Free pages to draw
Bird datat collecting sheets
Wingspan comparison sheets
Personal reflection sheets
4 Creative writing sheets
