CVCe Centers - Bossy e, Magic e Literacy Centers

Your students will love completing these CVCe literacy centers! There are so many fun and diverse activities included which are all designed to help your students learn, practice and master their bossy e, magic e, CVCe words! There are 10 activities included in total.

The activities included are:

1. I Spy Cards – Students search the picture card and locate the CVCe picture.

2. Scrambled Words – Students unscrambled the letters to build the word.

3. Word Puzzle – Students match the pictures and puzzle pieces to form the CVCe word.

4. Comprehension Puzzle – Students read the short sentences and match the pictures to complete the puzzle.

5. Read and Clip – Students read the CVCe word and clip the picture that matches.

6. I Can Change – Students change the words from short vowel to long vowel by adding a bossy e.

7. Spell a CVCe Word – Students choose a card and spell out the word on the recording sheet.

8. Secret Words – Students write the beginning sound of each picture to find the secret CVC word.

9. CVCe Word Builder – Students select a picture from the mat and spell it out using magnetic letters or erasable marker.

10. Clip a Word – Students read the short sentence and clip the missing word.
