    Description

Are you looking for activities to do with your class for Cinco De Mayo ? Fiesta in a Cup and Chicks and Salsa make the perfect pair for this special holiday. For Fiesta in a Cup, use the mini book provided to follow the directions to make this no bake taco dip. While you make it, you will read, work on teamwork and end up with something delicious. Your students can also predict, survey, graph, sequence and do a little math with their data. In addition, there is a fun fiesta in cup craft, class graphing tools, and differentiated writing ideas. Also included is a donation letter for parents and mini recipe cards to send home and share with their families. Chicks and Salsa is the cutest story about farm animals that are sick of their farm food. They sneak in the garden and grab ingredients to make salsa, guacamole, and nacho chips. This story would make the perfect read aloud for Cinco De Mayo. This literature extension pack is filled with comprehension strategies that you can use and differentiate for all your learners. There are also writing and word work activities as well as a few fun math games too. Students will have fun creating the rooster in a sombrero with salsa craft.
