Description
These customizable realistic looking dollar bill templates are a great way to positively reward students as individuals or as a whole class. They’re also perfect for teaching and practicing math fluency and financial literacy in a real world setting.
✏️ Includes: $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 bills
Set up your classroom currency system in 3 quick and easy steps!
1. Add your desired image to the slides. Layer them behind the bills using the Arrange -> Order tool. Using PNG files are best so that the background is visible. (My students loved seeing my Bitmoji in the middle!)
2. Print and cut! The presentation slide is already formatted to 8.5” x 11”, so all you have to do is click File -> Print.
3. Decide your reward system and/or any other ways of use!
Ideas: lunch with the teacher (don't undervalue this one!), a whole-class party or experience, math centers, etc.
In case you run into issues with your printer thinking you are making counterfeit money, I suggest trying other printers, printing in black and white, or saving the files into pdf or jpeg format.
