    Description

This is a great bundle of TWO research projects to prepare for college and career. It is perfect for an Avid study skills class, an elective, asb, student council, or ELA. Both guide kids to research and analyze data in a different way. My students love both of these!

College Research Project can be purchased alone HERE:

This is a FUN and different way to look at a college. It is perfect for an avid study skills class, an elective, ELA, student council, asb... you name it! This resource encourages students to research a college they might be interested in attending. They will analyze the admissions process and evaluate if they are on the right track to attend this college. Being a good fit for a college is very important. I explain that if a college doesn't have the major you think you want, then it might not be a good fit. Students will research to see if this college truly suits their goals. They will need to have detailed reasons as to why they KNOW this college is perfect for them! The Google Slides presentation guides them through researching the college and then analyzing the details to have them determine if it is a good place for them. It is completely editable so you can change or delete anything as you see fit!

Career Research Project can be purchased alone HERE:

This is such a great project for middle school, junior high, or high school students. It is a great career investigation for an elective like avid study skills, college and career classes, ASB, student council, or even speech and drama. It is interactive and guides students to research their chosen career. The students can create their own slideshow, or you can have them add slides to this one to make grading a bit easier. I also have them present their careers to the class. This is completely editable so you are free to add, delete, or edit any content to make it work for you. My students got way more out of this than I thought they would! After they presented, I noticed they were contemplating other choices that they hadn't thought about.

I also have numerous Avid lessons for the elective (or upper elementary) if you are an avid teacher and would like to save time!
