What educators are saying

I put this in resource in my lesson plan and will be using this resource after testing. I can't wait because I haven't taught this before.
This was a terrific resource. We did some of the writing components and then made our own comics. They loved them and they turned out so well!

Description

Does writing time have you and your students groaning? You can turn writing into a fun and engaging activity that will have your students asking, " Is it time for writing yet!?"

Comics are engaging for kids and adults alike, and now you can help your students learn to love writing with Comic Writing Activities! This is a fun and creative way to teach your students the writing process!

After learning all about what it takes to create a comic, they will go through the brainstorming process, rough draft, editing, and finally make a comic! There is a huge variety of templates to make comic strips, full pages, and comic books!

The comics students create are entirely up to you, but for example, a superhero theme is used, making it a great addition to a superhero unit!

The entire comic writing unit is available in the following versions:

NO PREP: Just print! Black and white to save on ink!

Color: For a more vibrant lesson or for classroom posters/centers.
