Cooking with Science: Physical and Chemical Changes

Everyone knows that students learn and understand more by "doing" rather than just reading about something in a textbook. Physical and Chemical changes occur all around us but it is sometimes one of the more difficult concepts for students to grasp. Through these hands-on labs and investigations, your students will get a better and deeper understanding of physical and chemical changes and how to identify them in the real world.

An Answer Key is NOT included because there are many different ways to conduct these investigations. The answers will depend on your class discussions and which methods you use.

These activities and labs and designed to EXPAND their knowledge of physical and chemical changes and help them apply it to the real world. They will need to know at least the definitions before being able to do these activities independently.
