Are you looking for a high interest project to engage and excite your students (especially if the idea of upcoming holidays are distracting them from focusing in the classroom). Our high-engagement 'Design a Sneaker' project is perfect for fourth to sixth-grade students.
Your students will be guided through a step-by-step journey of creating their own sneaker brand company. Students will enjoy exploring aspects such as reading about the competition (other famous sneaker brands), recruiting staff, designing their first sneaker, marketing it, and analyzing sales data. The project covers a wide range of skills, including reading, math, STEM, and design.
The project offers flexibility, allowing for differentiation via editable Google Slides (for the Math activities). Printable materials are readily available (including a quick-print student booklet).

- Step 6: Create a slogan and choose a celebrity brand endorser for the sneaker
- Step 7: Create a stand-out advertising poster for the sneaker
- Step 8: Share posters and sneaker creations with classmates
- Step 9: Analyze sales data and represent data in a graph
