Description
It’s difficult for a student to truly analyze a story without a firm grasp on the elements of a story and plot. My Story Elements and Plot Reading Passages are intentionally written so that students begin to recognize the beginning, middle, and end of a story. Students will learn to recognize the structure of a story and learn when authors begin introducing characters, setting, action, conflict, a climax, and the resolution. With lack of recognition of these plot elements, students will struggle to fully comprehend a story, and will even have trouble when trying to develop their own story. With 3 differentiated levels for each of my 10 passages, your students will have repeated practice with the elements of a story and will be able to recognize plot patterns in no time!
