Description

This product was created in an attempt to continue our classroom momentum in both Social Studies and History prior to our statewide exams. It seems as though this subject falls short as we prepare for both Reading and Math exams. I have incorporated some key ELA skills into a packet that will promote student interaction with the text being taught, while allowing them to practice:

*Vocabulary and dictionary skills
*Identifying facts within a given text
*Identifying problems and solutions
*Identifying and discussing historical figures within a given text
*Identifying main ideas
*How to place important events on a timeline
...and more!

**I have created a separate file that will be included with your download. I have selected pages that I have made editable to add your own personal touch to this product.

**This product can be used for partner and group presentations, as individual work, partner work, small group, and even whole group teaching. It is extremely adaptable for your individual needs!

This product is aligned to the CCSS for Grades 3-5.

This product is to be used for a single classroom use. An additional license is required for multiple downloads.
