This is a full ELL Beginner & Newcomer curriculum. This is a semester-long (16-21 week) curriculum that covers the necessary beginner ELD or A1 CEFR grammar concepts.

Like many ELL/ESL teachers have found, if any curriculum does exist within your district, it lacks in student interaction, speaking, listening, and real life application lessons. From that need, this was created and has been continuously updated for over 10 years now.

What is included?
15 Full units on the following concepts:

- numbers & animal vocabulary (1 week)

- singular & plural nouns (1 week)
- 'be' verb unit (1-2 weeks)

- directions (3-5 days)

- there is & there are unit (1-2 weeks)

- have & has unit (1 week)

- possessive adjectives (1 week)

- comparative & superlative adjectives (1 week)

- can & can't with action verbs (1 week)

- simple present tense (2 weeks)

- simple present & can mixed practice (3-5 days)

- simple present continuous (1-2 weeks)

- going to for future plans (1 week)

- simple past 'to be' (1 week)

- simple past tense (2-3 weeks)
