This pack is suitable for use all year round with a range of families.
All of the handouts are no-prep and ready to use straight away.
There are two versions included- one with US English spellings and one with UK/AUS English spellings.
Ideas for Use:
- Use the rating scales to monitor progress/help with planning before and after therapy intervention.
- Use the Joint Plan sheet to support therapy planning with the parent/caregiver.
- Provide the parent/caregiver with either of the reflection sheets during/after sessions to guide self-reflection.
- Use the toys and activities list to get an idea of the type of toys and games the family has available at home.
- Give parents/caregivers the first words, gestures, and/or signs lists so they can track their child’s progress.
- Use the handouts for parents and caregivers during caregiver-coaching sessions.
- Share the handouts with parents/caregivers or childcare providers during meetings.
- Send the handouts home in homework packets.
- Put the handouts on a bulletin board as a “toy of the week” or “strategy of the week”.
- Put these handouts in a binder and use them for your own reference.
