In this lesson I really encourage students to work on their plating and presentation! It's fun for them to realize that you don't need 'fancy' ingredients to make a 'fancy' dish!

I do not talk at all during this demo! You'll be surprised to hear that students pay WAY more attention during this lab than any other demo I've ever done! I also do not provide a recipe for them, so they have to take their own notes as I make the dish! It's such a fun switch-up!

This includes the recipe guide I follow for the demo day, finished examples that my students have created for their ramen dishes, and talking cards that I print off and hold up since I don't talk during this demo!

The recipe guide is kind of vague for this Gourmet Ramen Lesson! The reason for this is because you can prepare this dish however works best for you and your class! I leave the instructions fairly vague because I want my students to branch off and experiment a little bit! This is just what I personally do and use in my classroom! Have fun with this lesson and make it your own!!

I use this in my high school Foods and Nutrition class, but this could also be done in Foods 2, Culinary Arts, or any Comprehensive Family and Consumer Sciences Class!
