Egg Writing: Use this egg themed activity as a fun buddy writing activity. Build it into the week of Easter, your egg themed week, or just a fun jigsaw writing time!
TO USE: Print out the colored eggs with the writing prompts on the back. Laminate for durability. Then Cut along the dotted lines. Mix up pieces and have students draw out one egg half. Students find their matching piece and begin working with their buddy on creating a narrative writing based on the title found on the back of their completed egg. Have students publish their writing piece on the writing paper provided. For a fun twist, use the blank egg at the end of this pack and have students design their own special egg, or draw an illustration for their story and attach to the paper.
Low on ink? No Problem! Use the backlines for easier printing. Print on colored paper for automatic color. Or print on white paper and color the eggs with marker or crayon. .
