Looking for an Orff lesson that is a digital resource and will work on all interactive boards, tablets and web browsers? Your elementary music students will love the engaging music activities and the interactive slides included in the music lesson plan, the PowerPoint or Web version of the visuals. You will love that you can use the folk song and the Orff arrangement for a performance piece on a music program or concert!

The song has been extended with a B section so you are able to address melodic direction in addition to eighth notes/quarter notes and mi sol la. The lesson has it all: rhythm, melody, instruments and movement!

The set of Lesson Plans and interactive slides include:

• 5 lessons each 8-15 minutes (8 pdf pages) plus an Orff arrangement (2 pgs). The lesson plans include detailed instructions for teaching the song, movement, rhythmic and melodic activities, boomwhacker ostinato and Orff ensemble to first and third grade. Additional adaptions and extensions are also addressed.

• 20 visuals (with 16 slides being student interactive) may be used to reinforce melodic direction, rhythmic reading and melodic reading. You will have everything you need to teach all the lessons.

It is a perfect piece to add to a performance/concert or just to sing and dance in music class addressing curricular concepts as appropriate. You do not need to utilize the Orff arrangement in order to address curricular concepts while your class enjoys making music with this product.

The resource was designed to be projected onto your SmartBoard, Promethean, Mimio or Interactive Whiteboard and will run on PC's, Mac's, Chromebooks and tablets using a "link" that will open via your default internet browser. Integrating the resource into digital learning platforms like Canvas, Blackboard, Seesaw, and Google Classroom is easy when utilizing the "shared link".
