What educators are saying
These Emotional Colors Posters worked great in my classroom, especially since a lot of my students were struggling with regulating their emotions. This became an everyday check-in for the students.
I refer to these posters a lot! We added one at a time and used them as lessons about zones of regulation. Students refer to these as well throughout the day!
Description
Teach students to identify and regulate their feelings! These are perfect to add to any trauma-informed classroom, or to any social-emotional learning curriculum.
These posters sort feelings into four colors - green, red, blue, and yellow. Each poster displays a set of "I feel" statements, as well as "I am" statements along with illustrations for each, which help students to identify their feelings. Also included is a matching "strategies" poster which help students to identify a self-regulation strategy to help them self-regulate, and get back to green.
These are great to use to display in your classroom, as well as in your classroom's "safe place," or "break area" if you use one!
