FRENCH Alphabet Crafts for Uppercase Letters - Bricolages d'alphabet en français

Make teaching French alphabet anchor words fun and engaging with these hands-on alphabet crafts! This resource includes 28 different alphabet anchor word crafts for the French alphabet - perfect for maternelle and/or première année students.

These crafts use uppercase letters to make an object that begins with each letter. For example, students will use the letter A to make an avion. These crafts will help your French primary students improve their fine motor skills (cutting and gluing), while also helping them learn an anchor word for each letter of the alphabet.

And, there are two options for prepping, so you can decide which works best for you!

These French alphabet crafts are a perfect addition to interactive notebooks, or as a stand-alone activity. They also work well to leave as part of a substitute plan or emergency plans.

Each craft comes with two templates:

Template 1: You can choose to print all of the craft pieces on one sheet of white paper, and then have your students colour the pieces, cut them out, and put them together.

Template 2: You can print or trace directly onto coloured paper! This option saves time as your students won’t be colouring, but it does cost more money and time for you.

Here's what you get:

• One craft for all 26 letters of the alphabet
• Two crafts for Cc and Gg (both hard and soft sounds are included for those letters)
• Two template options for each craft, so you can choose to do the craft on white or coloured paper

If you use my alphabet posters, alphabet flash cards, or other alphabet resources, these crafts correspond exactly to my other anchor words except for the letter Oo. In my other resources, I use oreille as the anchor word, but I couldn't figure out how to make an engaging oreille craft. So, in this resource only, I use an orange for the letter Oo.
