Écoute et colorie!
Listening comprehension is an important piece of second language learning. This is one of my favourite listening activities because not only do my students love to do ‘écoute et colorie’ activities, but it gives me a quick and FUN assessment for their understanding of oral French.
The students listen while the teacher reads aloud the instruction and complete each one-step direction. I like to cut the instructions off and each student only gets the picture. I then read each instruction as it’s written.
Once all the students hand in their work, I staple the instructions to their sheet. This way I can check off what was correct and parents can see exactly what was said during the listening assessment. I have made each activity out of 10, so it makes for easy grading.
This resource includes 8 different listening assessments with a spring theme.
