What educators are saying

I have purchased a few different fact fluency sets, and this is the best one so far! I like that they are separated out into one fact at a time.
I loved this resource. I used this during a our MTSS time to encourage students to learn their multiplication facts.

Description

This book is over 200 pages and full of basic multiplication fact practice--an essential component of math instruction. This "program" will help teachers track student's progress in learning their math facts for RTI documentation.

Please download the preview to see what all is in it! If you have questions, please email me at topoftxteacher@gmail.com.

You can use these fact sheets in a variety of ways to meet your needs. This is how I use them:

PART 1—Learning the Facts-- FOR NINE WEEKS, I just work a different set of facts each week. For example, x1’s for a week, x2’s for a week, x3’s for a week and so on. Everyone does the same problems & homework everyday.
Flashcards* and Homework A, B, & C go home on Monday to work on each night.
Class Practice A- I give on Tuesday in class, we check it, and I send it home.
Class Practice B- I give on Wednesday in class, we check it, and I send it home.
Class Practice C- I give on Thursday in class, we check it, and I send it home.
TEST- I give on Friday in class, we check it, and I take a grade on it. I only count the problems they miss (not the problems they didn’t complete—but I usually give the students enough time to finish all the problems in crayon.)
*If you need flashcards, you can download them from my TPT store.

PART 2—Incentive Program-- Next, I have the students working on trying to master each set of facts as an incentive program.

I have folders with several copies of each set of practice sheets in them to make it easy to pull out the set I need for each student each day because they will be each working on a different set of facts—depending on which one’s they’ve mastered.
Students complete one “Facts in a Flash Mastery Test” each day. There are three different tests for each set of facts. If they have completed A, B, & C but still haven’t mastered the set, I have them do A again, and so on.
If they finish the sheet completely, and it’s correct, in one minute—they have mastered that set—and they move onto the next set the next day.
They get a sticker on the chart or some piece of the incentive “program” I am using. I have included a sticker chart, and a “color in the lightning bolt” chart. I am working on some other incentive ideas, and will post them on TPT when I get them finished. I have included the charts in color and black and white. I don’t have a colored printer, so I just copy the black and white ones on colored paper.

PART 3– Daily Fact Fluency—Mixed Review
These problems are mixed up. Students track their progress daily to see how many problems correct per minute they can get. I usually do Part 2 and Part 3 together at the same time, so students are working on their own level of facts, but also getting a mixed set as well.

PART 4-Homework
There are 3 homework pages for each “set” of facts—A, B, & C. They are the same as Class Practice A, B, & C from Part 1.
I have included 3 pages that have instructions for parents and 3 pages WITHOUT parent instructions, so you can add your own if you like to do it different that I do.
Then there are 25 pages with mixed facts the Fact Fluency Probes from Part 3. One set with instructions, and one set without.
