Take a journey through the decades while identifying figurative language in music specific to each era. The set includes music from the 50s through the millennium. Great for station work or small group activities.
Each decade handout includes a short summary of the music of the period, six sample lyrics of music popular in the era, and a chart for identifying the figures of speech found in each sampling (simile, metaphor, personification, hyperbole, and idiom).
