A student reference sheet is included that provides a short, student friendly definition as well as an example for each type of figurative language included in this resource.

Use these no prep worksheets for figurative language review, centers, homework, morning work, independent practice, a distance learning packet, and more in your 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade classroom. You can also use these for small group reading instruction using the I Do, We Do, You Do model.

The poems are short and make a good introduction to figurative language within poetry. A variety of activities and questions are included.
