Description

Your K 1st 2nd & 3rd grade speech and language students are going to love these interactive following directions activities that support fine motor skills, gross motor movement, math quantities and MORE! Get your students up and moving and involved in their learning with these following directions card decks

This set of directions cards is designed to target goals of following 1, 2 and 3 step directions while incorporating body movements. Each directions card contains 1 command making it super fun and easy to combine the following directions cards in a variety of ways. The instruction sheet provides ideas for 8 possible games from “Simon Says” variations to charades. 

❤️Whether students are following directions while sitting on the floor, sitting in a chair, or standing, they are going to be begging for more following directions activities as they wait in excited anticipation for the next card to be pulled and the command they will follow.

This Speech & Language Following Directions resource includes the following card decks:

  • 30 card deck with actions that can be completed while sitting on the floor. (Includes fine motor movements.)
  • 10 card deck with actions that can be completed while sitting in a chair or on a bench.
  • 30 card deck with actions that are completed standing up when there’s room to move! (Focus on gross motor movements.)
  • 20 card deck of actions with picture prompts (10 sitting & 10 standing)
  • 10 card deck of before & after directions
  • 10 card deck of quantities (1-3)
  • 10 blank cards to create your own action commands.
