“Miss Minto’s Musical Moments”
Over the past year during lockdown I’ve created 200 “Musical Moments” which I’ve made available to all schools nationwide here in the UK. I’m pleased to say they have been very popular with many thousands of downloads! They consist of 200 resources, each of which consists of links to brilliant YouTube videos on lots of different topics such as animals, countries, beatboxing, self esteem, history, Westerns and so many more. Lots of background information on the various topics is also provided. I am sending all 200 “Musical Moments” entirely free of charge on purchase of any one of my 29 song packs. Simply let me know which song pack you have purchased and send me your email address to donnajminto@gmail.com. The “Musical Moments” will be sent to you as soon as possible.

Various kinds of food are covered in a general way in songs such as “Frozen Food”, “Dairy Foods Are Good” and in a more light-hearted way in “Hot Dogs, Cold Dogs” and “Chocolate Bears”. Taste buds are explained in “Do You Like The Taste?” A math lesson is included in “Food Shapes” and finally our stomachs are kept happy in “Thanks For Feeding Me!”.

1. PDF of the music, lyrics and teachers’ notes
2. The lyrics in a separate Word document
3. An mp3 vocal backing track
4. An mp3 piano backing track
5. PowerPoint with both the vocal and piano tracks embedded (great if you have speakers attached to your whiteboard!). See the illustration to see the icons – the one on the top left is for the vocal, the one on the right is piano only.
6. PowerPoint of the staff notation
