Description
We're Going Places! Physics is perfect to teach to the younger grades. After all - they are all about motion! And simple machines are represented in all their toys.
Newton meets the characters Force, Friction, Inertia, Action and Reaction among many others. In the end, Newton has the coolest go-cart imaginable! Even Force makes amends with his nemesis Friction to make for a happy ending.
My transitional kindergarten class of 29 presented this as a June culmination. It would have been easier if they were all third graders but they were terrific and understood the concepts!
