Description
Teaching students with autism and other significant disabilities can be challenging. With varying needs, coming up with a curriculum which works for each child can be very difficult. This functional math curriculum assists educators in determining the starting place for their students and the next step. The "How to" guide and curriculum guides (see the explanation below) are meant to explain how to use the curriculum for such different learners.
This curriculum contains 183 math skills! The skills are broken down into 7 skill domains; Number Sense, Counting, Numerical Operations, Money Skills, Telling Time, Using Schedules & Calendars & Measurement. A curriculum guide is included for each skill domain which explains what each skill entails and how to assess and modify each of the skills for a given individual.
The product preview contains an explanation of how to use the mathematics curriculum in your classroom. In addition, it contains one subset from the Tells Time functional skills domain and the curriculum guide for the corresponding subset.
