Gingerbread Craft Writing and Anchor Chart Activity

This Winter Gingerbread Craft and Writing Center Resource is a fun way for your students to display their writing skills. The are differentiated writing pages for you to choose what is suitable for your students.

Pairing this Gingerbread craft with a writing task is a multi-step project. Students will be excited to display their writing about gingerbread. This Craft and Writing resource is a great way for your students to build skills such as following directions, hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, and writing.

Suggested breakdown for project completion;

•Day 1; teach your students any background information they may need to write about the topic and use the Anchor Chart pieces

•Day 2; help your students complete the writing and/or drawing/coloring portions of the project.

•Day 3; give your students the pieces to cut, glue and assemble. They can also attach the writing page to their craft. Your students will be so proud of their work!

•OR Day 3/4; you can have the craft part of this project set up in an art center and have your students put together the craft and writing pages together the following day.
