Hispanic Heritage Month Art Lessons - 6 Elementary Art Lessons

This Hispanic Heritage Month collection of elementary art lessons will keep your kindergarten through 5th grade art students engaged in painting, drawing, weaving, collage and more while learning about arts and crafts from a variety of Hispanic cultures. These elementary art lesson plans will cover 2-3 weeks of planning. The students will learn some fun facts and be engaged in an art critique of artwork and crafts from Peru, Chile, Panama, Mexico, Guatemala and Puerto Rico with this art lesson bundle. The PowerPoint slides and/or PDF slides include art vocabulary (elements of art and principles of design), lesson objectives, materials needed and a video art tutorial for each lesson. This package will yield a well rounded, beautiful display to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15) Enjoy!

• Lessons are grouped by region. You can adjust to your students, lessons vary in complexity and skill set.
