Description

This informational unit is intended for young learners focusing on homes and houses around the world. It focuses on different countries and how people live there, in what type of house. It explains why homes are different based on where the home is located. Materials homes are made from is discussed, as is what are differences between a house and a home. Students will learn through literature connections, photos of real homes, engaging activities, and reflection. It is perfect for the youngest learners and it meets many social studies requirements for homes from different cultures.
