How Do You Use It? An Object Function Packet

Thanks so much for purchasing this packet from me! I hope it makes your planning easier and that your students love it as much as mine! There are so many ways you can use these activities! If you like having hard copies, print them out and laminate. But if you want to save a lot of work and ink, pull the pdf up on your iPad in iBooks, and use them as a no-print activity!

•Pages 3-9: Object Function Flash Cards: Show them to your students and ask them to expressively tell what the object is used for, or use them receptively by asking them to point to the object when you name a function!

•Pages 10-16: Multiple Choice Cards: Have your students point to the object that is needed to complete the action.

•Pages 17-20: Expressive Object Function Flash Cards: Have your students read the cards (or you read them for the non-readers), and decide what object they need to complete the activity.

•Pages 21-23: My Object Function Book (Black & White): Have your students color the pictures and complete the sentence for what the object is used for. (Great for working on –ing!) The students can do the books at school, or take them home as homework!
