I loved this unit for marine biology and science reading. My students loved learning about the ecosystem in the ocean. Really great passages and interactive notebook pieces.
Students will begin by viewing a slide show presentation on coral reefs. The slide show is editable for teacher convenience and will provide background information for students prior to the reading.
This reading unit has a science theme and students will learn about the delicate ecosystem of a coral reef. They will learn why coral reefs are important and they will learn how to protect coral reefs.
