Description
An Inquiry Based Learning Project your students are going to love!
Social Media gets the blame for most, if not all, of our students' social and mental health issues: But how bad are the different apps actually? How beneficial are the benefits they bring? How are they shaping the young people who are increasingly logged in for longer and longer periods each year?
Our students should know the truth about the social media they're consuming and creating, but more importantly they should know how to answer questions about the different ways that they connect, as it's only a matter of time before the next 'new' thing shows up. In this project, students are given a general overview of how inquiry projects work, and are then set loose to dive into an authentic research process. At the end, they are given the option of presenting in one of four different modes: A presentation, a podcast, a documentary film, or an essay.
