Description
You will get a lesson that develops a student's understanding of negative concepts such as:
What contexts are represented by negatives
Ordering and Comparing negatives ( including decimals and fractions)
Placing integers on a number line.
Distance from zero
Distance between numbers
Writing integer number sentences
Direction of Change
This is a smartboard activity with 35 slides. There are at least 43 opportunities in this less for students to come to the board and be active with the smartboard.
Many of the guided practice questions use the reveal function to give feedback.
I have provided homework questions along with answer key.
A set of lesson objectives has been included.
I have provided some teacher notes throughout the lesson to help provide assistance.
I have provided two slides that can be turned into posters if you have a poster maker.
