What educators are saying

Great addition to my math classroom. I used this as a display in my classroom. I also used this for a classroom activity where students moved along the integer number line. Worked great for what I needed!
This is a staple decoration in my classroom! I have made multiple for different walls in my classroom.

Description

This large number line is essential for teaching integer operations, comparing numbers, and absolute value! Every math classroom should have a vertical number line.

Students who struggle with moving left and right on a horizontal number line often find success with the vertical arrangement. I have seen tremendous improvement with adding and subtracting integers when students use a vertical number line.

Just print the sheets on regular 8.5 x 11 paper. Trim the edges, tape together, and laminate if possible.

Lots of options are included in the PDF. A huge option is about 8.5 feet once assembled. A medium option is about 5.5 feet tall, and smaller option is about 4.5 feet tall. Each size has different font options as well.

The number lines only require black ink. Choose any color paper you like to go with your classroom decoration.
