What educators are saying

This was the perfect project to tie in BHM and science. It was a very engaging project for my students.

Description

This Inventor Poster is a great way to engage your students in research for Black History Month. In print or digital form, your students will get to know an African American inventor.

What is included:

1. Inventor Poster (8x10) - Students will use the internet or other resources to answer guided questions to fill in each section and learn more about an African American inventor. Display them in your classroom or in the hallway. Students will be proud of their work!

2. Digital Poster (Google Slides) - Ready for upload to your learning management systems such as google classroom and canvas. Students will use the internet or other resources to answer guided questions to fill in each section by simply adding a text box. Students will not be able to edit the poster. They will only need to add information.

3. List of African American Inventors - The list does not include all African American Inventors because there are many. This list will help you get started on this project right away. You can use this list to offer students suggestions of inventors to research. The inventions are pretty cool!
