The Game
Students take turns to roll a die and move their counter on the game board. The student states the sound of the hiragana symbol they have landed on and then they write it in the correct position on their blank chart record sheet.
In this way, students get practice in reviewing hiragana sounds, the layout of the hiragana chart, and writing the symbols too!
Suitability
For any age student once they have been introduced to the 46 basic hiragana symbols.
