L'action de grace - Thanksgiving - Gratitude Activities - Primary French Unit

Have fun celebrating Thanksgiving with these fun Thanksgiving Activities, geared towards any primary French Immersion class or any Core French class.

I'm a Kindergarten French Immersion teacher in Ontario and I'm always struggling to find literacy materials that are engaging, simple and tied to my English teaching partners focus, as well. With the introduction of remote teaching, my French Units are geared towards 'learning from home,' as well as in the classroom. They are easy to print, easy to follow and can be sent home as remote learning resources for second-language learners.

I created these mini-units, based on common 'Thanksgiving' themes to guide my teaching throughout the month of October and November. Each package has specific, targeted and repeated vocabulary to highlight some key concepts that we focus on in our literacy blocks and in our literacy centres:

I hope you find that these units help you with planning your October/November, Fall, Autumn and Thanksgiving themes in your Kindergarten, Primary or Core French classes - or as distance learning tools! The repetitive nature of these units allows for structure and predictability, as well as repeated exposure to a specific amount (6) vocabulary words.
